Cross Media Marketing

Our client is a privately owned casino group based in Northampton, Avalon have worked with this client on many of their marketing campaigns.  The casino group have several sites throughout the UK, and has a considerable client database, many people attend the casino as a guest, and those that opt to join as a "Free Membership" receive invitations to range of events throughout the year.

The Challenge

With the installation of XMPie cross media software, and as the casino were an existing client of Avalon, we discussed their marketing plans and the success of these campaigns, whereupon it became apparent that due to the processes involved accurate reporting of each campaigns success was time consuming and not altogether accurate.  The casino currently utilise the services of Avalon for the print media, Supplier A for email media and Supplier B for SMS media, in order to report on the success of a campaign a member of the marketing team spent on average 3-4 days per month analysing all the data and compiling a report.
 

The Solution

Avalon proposed a XMPie cross media campaign, based on prospect data supplied by the casino, and involved a personalised invitation to attend the Casino and enjoy a 3 course meal for up to 10 persons FREE.

 

The invitation was created as a 4pp 110mm square invitation, which was mailed in batches of 300 to the target audience.

Upon receipt of the invitation the prospect was invited to book their table via a web link to a PURL (personalised micro site), on arrival on the landing page the prospect was asked 3 very brief questions in order to obtain some basic information, they would then be issued with a unique booking code in order to receive their free meal.

The prospect would then make their reservation using the unique code, which once confirmed to casino would be classified null and void.
